AIDA successfully conducted a webinar on 20th June 2025 to share key takeaways from the International Study Tour to the Asia Clean Energy Forum (ACEF) held in Manila, Philippines. Senior delegates from DISCOMs shared insights on clean energy transitions, smart distribution, and customer-centric innovations. Esteemed speakers included Mr. S. Suresh Kumar (Chairman, DVC), and Mr. Mahendra Kumar (MD, SBPDCL), Mr. Prasad Reshme (ED, MSEDCL), and Ms. Kiran Gupta (Chief (CE, Commercial & Govt Affairs), TPDDL), who provided valuable perspectives on global energy practices and their relevance to India’s power sector. The tour also featured a visit to MERALCO, Philippines’ largest distribution utility, offering firsthand exposure to advanced distribution systems.
