Khajan Bhardwaj is an accomplished and result oriented Engineering Professional with over 28 years of extensive experience working with large Electric Utilities such as Tata Power & ATCO Electric (Canada) and OEM companies such as ABB, Schneider Electric, and Siemens. Strong knowledge & skills in the areas of project engineering, detail design, power system studies, project execution, quality assurance, commissioning & testing of T&D substations, Distribution system, Generating stations and Protection system.
He obtained his degree in Electrical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering. He is a certified master Trainer of Power Sector Skill Council & has been providing trainings in ToT programs of PSSC.
He has worked on more than 80 projects related to T&D substation & Generating station and has also prepared 150 Technical Specifications, Design standards, Protection coordination studies etc. His ability to solve complex technical problems & provide innovative solutions has contributed significantly in improving system reliability, safety & operational efficiency while working with Tata Power & ATCO Electric. In recognition to his contribution, he has received several prestigious awards such as “Technology Leader” award and “Power Innovista” award in Tata Power. In addition, he also received two “GOLD awards” from ISGF for ground breaking Innovations.
He has also filed two patents for his pioneering work for the development of a low-cost, cyclone-resilient pole design to strengthen infrastructure in vulnerable regions and another on High Tension (HT) Line Voltage Regulator Transformer to enhance voltage stability and reduce technical losses.
