The Committee on Commercial Aspects of DISCOM Functioning has been constituted to address key commercial challenges faced by distribution utilities, including revenue realization, billing efficiency, consumer grievance redressal, loss reduction strategies, and evolving regulatory obligations under consumer-centric reforms. The Committee will serve as a platform for sharing best practices, identifying systemic bottlenecks, and formulating collective recommendations to enhance the financial health and service quality of Discoms.
The Committee is expected to meet at least once every two months.
